The stockowner-employee (SOE) Partnership Project began in 2012, when a long-term private investor distributed a portion of his shares to employees as a sign of gratitude for their hard work. In effect, he recognized that the employees' efforts had resulted in an increase in profits and decided to share the benefits with the workers. To study the results of this unprecedented case, the first conference was held on October 15, 2012 to report the results of the first round of surveys. This conference will examine the second round of surveys and engage in lively discussion about the overall effects of the SOE partnership. Professor Emeritus Sang-Jin Han of Seoul National University will hold the keynote address and report the findings.
