The Seoul National University Institute of Korean Politics and the Joongmin Foundation for Social Theory will be jointly hosting an academic seminar on May 22nd entitled, "Can Democracy Flourish in Economic Recession?: Korea in a Comparative Perspective". Presentations will be given by Professor Ursula Hoffman-Lange of the University of Bamberg and Professor Sang-Jin Han of Seoul National University.
