A Tribute to Ulrich Beck Social Sciences at the Age of Second Modernity
The College d'etudes Mondiales Annual Seminar of the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'homme (FMSH) will be held on May 18th with the theme, "A Tribute to Ulrich Beck: Social Sciences at the Age of Second Modernity". Participants from all over Europe and Asia will gather to speak about relevant topics and also pay tribute to the late Professor Ulrich Beck as not only an esteemed colleague, but a beloved friend.
