In July 2016, Joongmin Research Institute(director, Sang-Jin Han) signed a contract with Seoul Institute to conduct a research project on social governance experiment in China. In this research project, Prof. Sang-jin Han (the president of JMF: Joongmin Foundation for Social Theory) participated as the researcher in charge and Prof. Young-Hee Shim (the executive director of JMF), and Dr. Young-Do Park(director of JMF) participated as co-researchers. This research was successfully completed in February 2017 and the result of the research, "Typology and Characteristics of Social Governance in China: A Focus on Experiments of Social Governance in Beijing" (Seoul Institute Working Paper 2016-cr-22), was published by the Seoul Institute.
