The Joongmin Foundation for Social Theory (Chairman of the Board of Trustees: Sang-Jin Han, Professor Emeritus, Seoul National University / Visiting Professor, Peking University) hosts the memorial ceremony for the late Professor Ulrich Beck of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in the afternoon of March 17th at the Korea Press Center. The ceremony is for commemorating the late Professor Ulrich Beck and discussing how we should carry on his insights on “risk society” in East Asian societies.
